sickpipe started in a leaking garage with one bad idea: that surf equipment should be documented like climbing hardware. Published tolerances. Named materials. Failure modes on the label.
Seven years later the garage is a workshop and the idea has not moved. We still make everything in runs small enough to inspect by hand, still break our own prototypes before anyone else gets the chance, and still publish what went wrong.
We are not trying to be the biggest label in the water. We are trying to make the piece of kit you keep for a decade and then argue about with strangers in the car park.

Nothing ships until it has been through a winter it was not designed for. If it fails, it goes back to the bench — not into the catalogue.
